Personal Assistant to Bestselling Author (Onsite at Mill Valley Home Office)Work closely with Dr. Warren Farrell, an internationally renowned bestselling author and world thought leader who articulates the importance of empathy toward both sexes, and most recently toward boys' challenges. His forthcoming book is on couples' communication. (See ------------ and ------------.) You will work onsite from Dr. Farrell's home office nestled in a redwood park on Mt. Tamalpais. Your desk will look out on hundreds of redwood trees. You will have a pool, jacuzzi, and hiking trails at your disposal. You will provide occasional assistance for Dr. Farrell's wife.Your responsibilities include taking care of any personal duties that can allow Dr. Farrell to focus on his writing. This includes daily shopping; online research for travel; orders (e.g., Amazon); organizing and ordering household and business supplies, meds and supplements; maintenance of home and office equipment. (e.g., water purification, filters, and humidifiers).To the degree you are good with technology and social media, your job may expand.Compensation: $20/hr; approx. 15 hrs/week; flexible times. Role Classification: Independent contractor; hours via a 1099 form. Dr. Farrell is happy to mentor future author.
